ThermoFisher partnered with Clear Spider to track both its internal inventory as well as outbound orders to its various customers. The Clear Spider team developed a unique set-up for ThermoFisher that incorporated the Clear Spider mobile app as the main tool used to scan product in and out of ThermoFisher’s inventory.
In addition to tracking physical inventory, ThermoFisher wanted a full analysis of their inventory operations including several custom metrics the Clear Spider system was able to capture. This data is readily available in several different reports which provides the ThermoFisher team plenty of material to review their current processes and see where improvements can be made.

General Electric GRC reached out to Clear Spider for a system that could help track inventory being used in several research labs in Bangalore, India.
The Clear Spider team expertly set up a solution that would not only track inbound orders and inventory costs but would also automatically replenish stock at different lab location based on inventory needs. Clear Spider has integrations with General Electric’s ERP system so when any item reaches its minimum inventory level, they system automatically creates a purchase order to bring stock back up to optimal levels. In addition to keeping stock levels topped up, Clear Spider monitors inventory data such as turnover rates and cost to give General Electric a full picture of GRC operations.

What Clear Spider has Done
Ellsworth Adhesives has a wide customer base that have very specific requirements in terms of product selection, use and inventory data. Due to these rigorous demands, a manual inventory system simply would not work for the business and Ellsworth decided to team up with Clear Spider.
Through Clear Spider, Ellsworth has set up VMI capabilities that give customers visibility into available inventory, allows them to order new products online and notifies them when they should restock specific items. Alternatively, Ellsworth also has the option to manage their customers’ inventories for them and provide automatic replenishment to prevent stock-outs. Part of Chet Morrison’s services offered to their clients includes repair and preventative maintenance of pipeline parts. They decided to work with Clear Spider to help track the progress and materials used during these repair and maintenance projects.

What Clear Spider has Done
Due to the variety of services provided by ChemicoMays, they needed a unique solution that could help streamline their current inventory processes to better provide these inventory services to their customers.
Clear Spider was able to make a custom web portal where customers could directly order ChemicoMays’ products autonomously. The sales data from the site gets transferred back to both the Clear Spider and Sage systems to update inventory and sales order data in real-time. Internally, ChemicoMays uses Clear Spider to keep their own inventory organized by using Clear Spider’s data to check stock levels, run replenishment functions and monitor turnover.
With Clear Spider, ChemicoMays is able to provide a more efficient and accurate services to their customers while continuously improving their inventory management through automatic reporting.
